We are delighted to see that our pupils have achieved a record-breaking average score of nearly 400, which places the school amongst the highest achieving in Wales.

The redgra at Llanidloes High School is no longer fit for purpose. The pitch frequently floods and the surface is very worn. Sections of the redgra have to be cordoned off by teaching staff to secure pupil safety.
Powys Local Authority have acknowledged the need to address this situation.
The Headteacher of Llanidloes High School conquered his fear of heights by jumping out of a plane from 10,000 feet. Mr Owen has so far raised over £5000 towards a brand new Pupil Support ‘Cymorth’ Centre and an extension of the school’s Autistic Spectrum Centre.
We are very proud that our year 8 boys football team competed in the Welsh Cup and made it as far as the semi-finals before being beaten by an exceptionally good side from Llangollen, with a few of their boys having been in Premier League academies. Feedback from the consultation on the proposal to federate Llanidloes County Primary School and Llanidloes High School was overwhelmingly in favour of moving ahead with federating. Year 11 GCSE Engineering students from Llanidloes High School attended the STEM Cymru EESW Big Bang Event at the Wales Rally GB ‘Rally Village Deeside on Friday 5th October.
