Welcome to the new Llanidloes High School website. We’re all very proud of how it’s turned out.
My name is Harry Chappell, and I am the person who designed and built the website. I am an old student of the school and am a freelance website developer. My website is HC Digital. I have been working very closely with the new headteacher Dan Owen who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. A* for teamwork!

This website modernises Llani High School’s online presence in a neat, efficient and stylish way. The new site will stay more up to date with its live Twitter feed on the front page. Now when the country is hit with snow, you won’t need to phone the school to find out if the busses are running in the morning.
For the more detailed happenings of the school, the new website has a beautiful looking blog. What’s great is that you can tailor it to just the posts that are relevant to you. Say you have a child in Year 7 and another in Year 12, simply select your filters and cut out all the posts you don’t want to see.

And finally, the biggest upgrade is the mobile optimisation of the website. Every page adapts nicely to the different screen sizes of your devices. You can view the website on anything as large as your TV, to as small as your phone. It looks and works brilliantly everywhere:

There are plenty of other features which I’m just as proud of, for example the security of the site (but that’s boring to talk about). I hope you enjoy having a look around and using the site.
Thank you again to Dan Owen and the rest of the Senior Leadership Team for their help and feedback on the project. Give yourselves a nice big pat on the back!
