In their most recent inspection report, Estyn noted that, ‘The school works effectively with a range of external services to ensure that vulnerable pupils have access to a comprehensive range of support. Within the school, GOFAL support staff (Great Opportunities for All to Learn) provide high quality support for all pupils and deal effectively with the very few incidents of harassment and bullying. They also provide effective support for pupils with behaviour issues when they are withdrawn from lessons.’
The contribution made by our Gofal Centre to establishing a safe, disciplined school environment, cannot be overestimated.
